I have just got a new PC with VISTA, and have installed VS 9 which I have had for some time... I can insert my films from the DVD OK and see the clips, but when I try and watch the 'project' (it's in French, not sure if this is the term in English), it says I can't, a problem. it can't detect a sound thing or something... is this a problem of compatibility with Vista? How can I update it? On the website there is nothing with VS 9 about Vista, and on the VS 10, it says that I must already have VS 10. I can't see what I'm supposed to install to update my VS 9...
Not very good as it is with this kind of stuff!

Salut,
V 9 was released long before Vista, so it is not reasonable to expect it to work (many NLEs still don't work with Vista). I suggest you try the free trial version of 11.5, pending v 12 later this month.
