I don't see how this link helps ??
I have an OEM version of VinDVD 5 running perfectly and I wanted to upgrade to version 9 and this does not work because IVIVIDEO.AX could not be loaded !!

I exchanged a lot of messages with the Corel Support BUT they could NOT solve the problem !! :(

Thank you in advance for your reply.

Best regards, Jean-Claude.

I have got exactly the same error messages as above.

I'm using the most current Version downloaded and Vista Home Premium 64-bit.

And btw. I can't open the provided link - Proxy error!

Thanks

Installed perfectly for me in Vista 64bit Premium.

Have you done a full de-install as per Corel's knowledge base. Then try making sure Windvd9 installer has full administrator privileges when installing see if that helps.

Same thing again!

Uninstalled everything and checked Registry and file system - rebooted - deleted all files in Temp - rebooted - started install with admin-privilieges - same error again.

Tried to register the ivivideo.ax and got mentioned message about a missing module.

Untill WinDVD 8 I never had any issues with Intervideo products - now that Corel owns the product issues arise....

OK - unzippes the Windvd.exe and found that there is only the VCredist.exe for 32-bit machines included - when at home I will install the 64-bit version of the VC-Redist and try another install.

Maybe this is why the ivivideo.ax can't be registered...
