Post by David Bottel »

Whilst "Spring Cleaning" my PC I have found in MF6+ a folder "VIO TMP" containing lots of files.
Can these files be deleted?.

If in doubt about what files can and cannot be safely deleted, the safest course of action is not to delete them (yet) but rename them.
You can always revert them back again if it is found things have now gone wonky.

Steve,
Thank you for your reply.
The files in question have the following details:

E$%AVI's%Movies
widescreen%mpeg2AVI%....
ADX or VDX file
Because there are lots of these files can you help further before I start renaming them.

Start by renaming the folder rather than the individual files.
That has the same effect as renaming them all.

You can also use a program that will rename several files in one foul swoop.
Check out our links to FREE stuff a powerful one is "The Rename"
