Anyone have a suggestion how to get the "use device control" to activate in the "project Playback" mode in VS 11+? No matter what i do, it remains "greyed" out.
Movies playback fine on my PC, but I can't get them to output to my Canon HV20 camcorder because that control needs to be activated.
All I am wanting to do is send rendered movies back to my camcorder - if there is another way, let me know.
Thanks.

Welcome to the forums!
What format are you trying to send back to the HV20? If you captured HDV format from it using another program such as HDVSplit, and then opened it in VS, there could be some confusion as to whether it is transport stream (TS) or program stream (PS) mpeg wrapped up in the .m2t format. As I understand it the camera itself uses PS but HDVSplit converts it to TS, and VS seems to prefer TS as well, or at least have less problems with it. But if that is the case, and you have edited in VS, you have TS video which you are wanting to send to a camera which only accepts PS.
