MF 3.5 error

Post by iloweredmycarbs »

When I try to create a disc, I get an error after pressing the next button on the preview menu. It says, "Program Files\Common Files\Ulead System\DVD\uDVDBurnmgr is not registered!" I press OK and try to output the project, but MF freezes.
I run a Windows XP SP 2 with 1 GB of RAM. How can I fix this error? Thanks.

You can try to manually register that DLL file by doing the following:
  • Open a command prompt window, by going to Start>Run, and typing in cmd, then press Enter.
  • Using the uDVDBurnMgr.dll and path "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Ulead Systems\DVD\uDVDBurnMgr.dll", call regsvr32, ie; type the following at the command prompt:
  • regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Ulead Systems\DVD\uDVDBurnMgr.dll"
  • Press Enter
  • You should see a regsvr32 window confirming success. Close it.

It didn't work. I got an error saying: "LoadLibrary("C:\Program Files\Common Files\Ulead Systems\DVD\uDVDBurnMgr.dll") failed - The specified module could not be found."

Is the uDVDBurnMgr.dll file on your computer where its supposed to be? From the error message you received you either typed the location of the file wrong or the file isn't on your hard drive.
If the file isn't on your hard drive you should try to re-install the software.
