Question re: Animated Menus in Studio 9

I'm a former Pinnacle Studio user and purchased Ulead VS8. does the new VS9 have an animated background feature or are only the chapter icons animated?

I've downloaded the VS9 manual but it was not clear if it could do animated background menus. I beleive it was referring to animated menu icons.

There's no background antimated feature that I know about.

Yes, VS9 supports motion menus. There are some motion-menu templates (in the pulldown menu templates section). You can also import your own motion video for the menu background.

I would like to purchase the upgrade and was wondering if any of you expierenced any installation or stabiltiy issues with VS9 like other posts on this forum?

As stated below my DAW is not connected to the internet or used for anything other than audio and video editing.

I do have an images of my system so restoring to last known good image after a botched install is only a 15 minute setback. I was just curious if I should wait until the release of VS9.1 or VS9.2...

My personal experience has always been that if you purchase the upgrade as a boxed disc version you will not have any installation/set-up problems - it seems to me that virtually everyone on here having installation problems has used the downloaded upgrade. - - - sits back and waits for the contradictions.
