VS8 and LiteOn Burner DL 1673?

Anyone using a LiteOn model 1673 Dual Layer drive with VS8? It's not in their supported drives list....just checking before I create an expensive coaster....

Use a DVD-RW or DVD+RW disk -- that's always prudent as you work on your projects.

If the drive itself is working and recognized by Windows as being WMI (Windows Media Interface) compatible, it should work just fine with UVS.

Please note that dual-layer projects require the V8.01 patch. One downside of that is that for some people, the patch has introduced Audio/Video sync problems.

I haven't seen any DVD+RW DL media so that option is out.

I did burn a smaller project on DVD+R with the drive and it worked fine.

However my large project requiring DVD+R DL was not able to finalize the disk. Created and ISO file and burned it with another program just fine.
