Are you able to use DV Type-1? It seems that Ulead products handle Type-1 much better than Type-2.AVI Files DV Codec Type 2, variable sizes, got from video Capture
Other than the above, everything else looks fine. As you're probably aware since it took a patch to make DMF5 work with Vista, it may not work as well on Vista machines as it does on XP.
