Hi all..... IIImmmmmm back with yet another question.
I have a clip that has a song in it. during the song there is a segment of it that I want to duplicate part of, and then add in on to the original clip.
For example (it come from the live Phil Collins performance of In the air tonight.
Near the end of the song, there are 22 ah ah ah ah ah aha ha etc. I need 26 of the stupid little ah sounds.
How can I duplicate 4 of them, and them stuff them in the middle where it may not be noticed I am a stuffer (of ah ah ahs)
I noticed on the time line there is a repeat icon but I cant find anything about it in the Help section nor in a search of this forum>
Sounds stupid but if you saw the video, you would understand.
"Thanks in advance,,
Bob

Split audio
With the video in the timeline, under Edit click "split audio" and the audio should appear in one of the audio tracks.Go to "share"and click "Create Sound File" name it and save as a .wav file.Delete all but the bits you want and add it to the video audio but bear in mind the audio will be out of sync with the original video then...................Ken

Just right click on the clip and choose Split Audio.

Whilst this can be done by VideoStudio you will find it much easier to export the audio track as a WAV file and then open it with the FREE Audio Editor Audacity.
The display is much clearer and larger in audacity and you can quickly identify the beats, copy 4 of them and paste them in where required.
Here is a screen shot of an Audacity time line so that you can see what I mean. Simply save the edited WAV file and import it back into VideoStudio.

Sj1805, you are dead on accurate. I had actually downloaded Audacity some time ago (based on your free stuff page).
It really was easy. I just highlited the area I wanted repeated, clicked effects and then clicked Repeat. Told it how many times i wanted it repeated and boom... it was done.
Great program and thanks for the great advise.
