I have an Epson R210 (R200) CD/DVD printer.
Anyone got a template or guidance on using PI to print to disc rather than the Epson software ?
Thanks
Anyone do disc printing with PI ?

I'm only using XL.
With the Epson software it generates an A4 page but the disc print is in a particular spot on the page that aligns to where the disc is physically in the printer via the front feed. If that makes sense.
The image has to be in a particular "spot" to print in the correct location on the R210 printer.
My best attemp so far is to creat a new A4 page and apply a Photoshop disc template and keep moving it around till my test printing aligns with the disc.
I have a paper disc that's used for aligning the Epson software so no discs are wasted.
Unfortuately the print didn't look as good as the Epson print. There was some horizontal banding.
Perhaps this comes down to the DPI I've selected the file to print at.
Thanks

I've continued to use the Epson Software but have designed the background in PI. If you use it as a "picture" rather than a background in EP, you can resize and still see how it's going to look.
Some of the CDs I bought are from Verbatim and are silver. A photo from Photo Impact witht very soft edges comes out great on the disc.

I've used the text from the Epson software, so it fits right.
Sometimes it takes a few tries to get the things lined up the way I want them on the "label", but it's worth it when it's done.
I had found that a square of 500 X 500 pixels covers the whole label if you use it as a Backgroung, but it's hard to see the curves and hole in the disc. If you use it as a Picture, the outlines show through.
