Hello Everyone,
I am using VS 10plus and in one particular project I am crashing to windowds near the beginning of rendering. I am suspecting that maybe one of the files is corrupt since other projects are fine. Does anyone know of a simple program that can check the files for corruptness? They are mpeg2's from a sony hdd camcorder and I have about 40 of them to check.
Thanks, Eric
how to check for corrupt clips files

Do you have any blank frames or gaps between clips? Just a single frame is enough to crash renders. Otherwise, have a careful look on the timeline where the problem occurs and see whether you can find what's wrong (e.g., change of scene) and trim away the bad part.
