Learning to use VS11+
I've had the vs11+ for about 6 Months and in limited time available put a few hours of holiday footage on a few discs. However I cannot do anything other than basic Editing I've not been able to understand how to use the Overlay Track. The User's Guide does'nt help. Is there a book that explains this and maybe other matters in more detail ? If so where can I buy it ? Flossi

Have you checked out some of the free ones?
http://www.takeoneflix.com/category/ulead-videostudio/
The same people that have the above freebies, also have some for sale here: http://www.seeitdoit.tv
Then there is an excellent source authored by Charlie Hills called Getting Results with VideoStudio 9. Don't let the version dissuade you. Most of the information can be carried forward into VS10 or 11. I personally purchased a couple of his books (PDF). You can still get it here: http://www.getting-results.com

Flossi,
Also study the Sample Project (that's its name) that's included with VS11. It uses the Overlay tracks quite a bit. You'll find the shortcut to the Sample Project in Start -> All Programs -> VideoStudio 11. Well, at least for XP.
If you have any other questions, either post here or PM me.
Hope this helps,
Ronald Guthrie
