A BluffTitler question

Post by bob733 »

Vidoman gave me a suggestion about the program Blufftitler that I could use to create a special effect for my VS11 Plus movie. It worked.

The program is great. However, I want to create a segment that has exploding text and a boom and a large fire type explosion of smoke etc.

Blufftitler comes with some pre fab ones that do this. But, I have a complex multi paragraph clip that displays the paragraphs in a special order. I want to blow all those paragraphs up at the end. In other words, I want to add the effect to my complex show, not add my complex show to their explosion show.

However, even though the Blufftitler pre fab show does what I want to do, there is no particle effect (or layer) that matches the name the pre fab program uses to blow up the text.

How can i get this effect?

I have gone to the web page but can not find any effects to match what I want. I believe one of the was particle particle cloud.png

Any help on populating my directories with these effects will be greatly appreciated.

This one I'm not very sure about. Look in the drop-down menu where you have the options of Text Position, Character Rotation, ect., and there is one called Explosion +.

You would use that for your text, moving the slider all the way to the right.

**I just loaded up the Explosion show, and looked to see what they had done to create it. However I'll admit sometimes it is hard to follow how they are creating some of the effects..;)

I'm moving this to the General Discussions Forum, Video, since it has to do with a third party program, and not VS specifically..;)
