all of a sudden iedit will not load , keeps crashing

Hello,
I have been using photoimpact 5 forever
This morning, now it will not even start. Iedit.exe crashes and burns.
So i thought mabe time to upgrade to the latest.
I upgrade to 10 and it will load but is flackey as (*&^*&%$%%&$

It hangs, crashes all sorts of crap.

Anyone else having this problem?

I am running xp pro sp2

Hi,

It is likely that something in the system changed from the last successful time you used the program until now.

Check your system for any changes to see if you have shuffled the order of the programs you have.

Have you tried using 'System Restore" ? Resetting the system back to before you had the problem could be the simplest way to get running again.

thanks for the response.
I have not loaded any new software.
All other apps work just fine. Just photoImpact
This is really quite bizzare
