error message from WinDVD 5

Post by ipodtrip »

for my WinDVD 5 I am getting this error message play back stopped copy right protection signal detected. I tried two movies and these movies I rented are from Netflix. They are the movie Entourage and StarGate.
I updated the WinDVD 5 to the latest version. How do I solve this problem?

Closest answer I could find on Corel's Knowledgebase is this;
Macrovision is a protection technology that DVD movies use to block a video signal from being exported to a VCR. To run DVD movies onyour PC, you need to have Macrovision-compliant video drivers already installed on your PC. Check the video card manufacturer of your PC tosee if you can get Macrovision-compliant drivers and then after you have loaded them, try to run WinDVD again.
