Is anyone ellse having problems with keeping plugins in PSP X2?
I installed them correctly but there are times they do not appear when I want to use them and I have to restart the PSP program. Other times they just appear greyed out especially on a blank image..they work fine in PSP 9 but I am baffled as to what I can do to keep these plugins permanently.
ty for any suggestions you may have.

No plugins in PSP will work with 16 bit per channel images, which are also known as 48 bit images, and will be greyed out when one of those is open. TIFs or raw files from a digital camera will be of that type. You will need to reduce the colour depth to 8 bits per channel, then the plugins will be active. This was called "16 million colors (24bit)" in PSP 9, and was the best that was available in that program.
You reduce the colour depth in PSPP X2 by going to Image > Reduce Color Depth > RGB - 8 bits/channel.
