WinDVD 9 Doesn't Remember Audio Settings

Great product, but with a bug that appears to be carried over from V8. Neither V8 nor V9 remember my audio settings and revert back to "2 Speakers" each time I restart the program. No problem with this on the same machine when using V7. I am using XP and have correctly configured the Audio for 6.1 under Control Panel. Thanks.
