Hello,

Is it possible using VideoStudio 11 to convert .flv or .swf to .avi or .mp4 ? If so how or what do I need to install or download?

Thank you!

Of course VS will accept SWF files as it provides several examples. However VS will not accept FLV. You would need to convert those files using a third party conversion program.

To convert a SWF to another format, just select that format in the Share Step, Create Video File. :)

But don't expect miracles. .FLV format, as far as I am concerned anyway, is fairly trashy in quality, Converting it upwards, even to mpeg4, is going to deteriorate the quality a bit more, and if you are thinking of putting on DVD, it can be done, but forget about the quality...
