Recording a audio voice using microphone

Hi, I'm having trouble getting a voice audit to record for a slideshow. I follow this:-

Enable Sound annotation.

Photo options

Record audio

Click Mic

Test & record voice

Click on record. It then goes straight back to photo options without being able to record a voice audio.

We do have background music there as well. In saying that I was able to have both with version 3 of the software.

Can anyone help me with this.

Sounds like you're doing everything correctly. DVDPS4 does allow for background music AND an audio annotation. After you've clicked the "record" button, the "Voice Recorder" UI should appear and automatically begin recording. If that's not happening I'd recommend contacting tech-support.

I prefer to record voice annotations with the FREE audio editor
Audacity
You can then add it as follows:
