1. Repeated my test run and was very carefull not to miss any steps, and was able to activate "Insert scenes as chapters." Haven't a clue as to what I was doing wrong, but then that can be a trait of a beginner like me.

2. Regarding "Content files," I will try your suggestion right now. Thanks Steve.

Thank you Steve and Vidoman. I down loaded and installed the VS11+ Content File and Bonus Content CD File. Vidoman's link was very helpful. I'm back in business, which brings up my next questions regarding creating Chapter Menus.
1. In my Share workflow, VS won't accept the solid blue background .jpg file that I created. It tells me that there is a file mismatch. If not .jpg, what type of image (.gif, .bmp, etc) should my background be?

2. After developing my Chapter Menu, with six Motion Menu thumbnails, is it possible to save that Chapter Menu format so that I may use it with the rest of my 75 or more hour long home movie projects?

If you have customised a menu, using the Customise button on the Edit tab in the Gallery/Edit page of the burning module, you will see a button to the immediate lower left of the preview screen, which will Add your new template to the templates menu under the Favourites heading. So next time you have a project, you simply select that template...

Thank you Ken. I didn't use the customize button or the procedure that you just outlined, so perhaps that's why VS is seeing my solid blue background .jpg file that I created as a "file mismatch." I'll try it again and use your procedure with the customize button.

Used the Customize feature, added my solid blue background, spread out my six thumbnails a slight amount, enterred a start date under each thumbnail and then saved it as a "favorite." VS11+ tells me that some items on my Chapter Menu may overlap, but it accepts my solid blue background for my Chapter Menu. However, after multiple tests of completing my burn module and trying the resulting new DVD, there is no Chapter Menu on the DVD or at least none that I can access. :( Other than that, the rest of my new DVD is good.
Is this failure caused by my slight adjusting of the thumbnail positions, and if not, any suggestions as to what I have done incorrectly?

Thank you Steve. Made sure that "Create Chapter Menu" was ticked and it worked. Can't understand why VS would allow me to develop and edit a Chapter Menu, but then not include it, because I failed to have "Create Chapter Menu" ticked. But not to worry, with your help, it now works.

Using your's and Ken Berry's suggestions regarding creating customized Chapter Menus, I selected >Customize, >Layout, >LaS0601 to get my six chapter thumbnails on one chapter menu page. Then >Frame, and compared the end results of using frame number F005, over F006 and F007, because F005 made each of my six chapter thumbnails slightly larger. However, when viewing the finished product DVD, it's a little hard to tell which one of the six chapters is high lighted when trying to select a specific chapter.

1. Is there an option to make the border around the thumbnail more bold, so that it would be more visible when selected on the produced DVD?

2. If not, is it possible to change the color of the border around the chapter menu thumbnail, to make it more obvious as to which one is selected and high lighted, before pressing "Enter" to start viewing that chapter?
