Best waty to produce a VS11 Plus movie for Veoh.com?

Post by bob733 »

I have created a 1 gig 20 minute movie that I (with Blacklab's help) I put up on Veoh.com.

However, even though the still pictures, music and graphics all blend together perfectly, the mpg clips are jerky and just are not right.

The movies was Shared (by VS11) as a video clip MPG (Same as project settings). The original input movie clips (to the VSP) were all MPG's.

Blacklab told me of the success he has had using MOV, 320 x ??? with Sorenson 3 compression. However, this did not produce a good movie for me (and don't have time to determine the difference).

Any help on what would produce a good movie (ie., using another program like Fraps etc) and what compression and other parameters I should use (in VSP 11 Share) would be greatly appreciated.

I really appreciate your response but I have to admit that there is a lot of conversation up on that URL and quite frankly, I got lost in the forest.

I just need to know what settings I should set in the Share screens to produce a good movie for Veoh that a limited audience will be able to view and not have to put up with sub quality streaming.

For example, Black lab gave me some advise and simply said he had good results with MOV 320 x (i forget the second parameter), sorenson 3 video. That one did not work so well with my video so I need another shot at another one.

Thanks (again) in advance.

If you view this short instructional video (as per my above post) How to Export/Import Movie Templates you will see have already done all the hard work for you and it will take literally seconds for you to download a short clip I have provided and then create a VEOH template.

If this was a test I would give you one minute (after opening VideoStudio and also having downloaded that very short clip) to complete the task otherwise you would have failed the task!!

It is as easy as it can possibly be.

Another option would be to find a clip in Veoh you think is of good quality and e-mail the person who put up the video and ask them how they did it and what settings.

your video did (or at least, will) cut a lot of trees down so I can see the path.

But for the life of me, I cant understand you second sentence in the clip.

You say"
To share movie templates... first xxxxxxxxxxxxxx a template, then save
a short video for xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx from it.

what am I missing (that i can not understand what you said)?

Dont hate me
