I read in this forum about audio sync, do I have to re-sync the audio each time I split the video clip and insert a video FX ?
I currently using Video Studio11.5 Plus
audio out of sync after adding video FX

Is your audio in a separate track from the video? If so, you will, because your are shortening the video when you insert transitions.

When you insert a transition it is like getting two pieces of old fashioned film and then joining them together by overlapping them and gluing them together. In the old days that would cause a cross fade transition, with modern day methods - computers and digital video - the theory is the same but instead of a simple cross fade you can now select hundreds of different transitions.
Due to the 'overlapping' the total duration of the project is shortened.
Normally the sound is contained in the same file as the video and so the sound is also overlapped. B splitting the sound from the video you are now overlapping (and shortening) the video but the sound is remaining in its original state and length. Therefore your sound will become out of synch.

I see, but I did another test,,
I open a new project, insert a video clip , (without splitting the audio from the video), did one cut , insert a transition , and the audio of the second video clip is overlapping the first audio track. (is this normal)
I also did some testing with another software (Pinnacle Studio 11 Plus)
an I did the same test, and get a perfect clip with sync audio!.
I assume that both product were able to do the same as transitions effect.
Is this something that Ulead will address in the future version?
Tks, for any advise.
