I'm starting to suspect that you don't have Administrative Permissions, is that correct? If so you must have Admin Permissions to install software properly. Which begs the question are you even allowed to install anything on the computer?
With all the "security" built into Vista, you are going to have to be able to utilize one of the suggestions already mentioned. If you can not do any of the above, why not get someone that can?
I'm sorry if that appears blunt, but you asked for help with installing, and several suggestions have been provided, which apparently is beyond what you're authorized to do. If you're not authorized to perform some of the above suggestions, maybe you should not be installing the program....
