Problem With Ulead Video Studio 11

Hey Everyone I Brought Ulead Video Studio 11 The Other day though I am having a problem with the splash screen I cant get passed it when I try and go and use it I get a problem with this " Ulead Has Stopped Working" windows is checking for solution to the problem"

I have windows vista home premium
and my computer is a Acer aspire

I originally have Ulead Videostudio 10 and that works fine..

Does anyone please have a solution to the problem and details on how 2 fix it? thx

Have you downloaded the patch and the powerpack?

Also, test to see if things work when you right click the icon and select "run as administrator"

That other icon you have for VS is that the other version (vs10)?

yeah i just tried that you said then still no change and yes that is ulead video studio 10 above number 11

I have VS11+ installed on a Vista machine and don't have any problems. Go HERE and download the latest MS Direct-X drivers. The most current is dated March 2008.

Did you install Vista SP1? I think I read where someone was having similar problems and they had just previously installed that update. If so you could try rolling back that Service Pack and see if VS will run.

Though I have trouble with your SMS fast speak, you do a System Restore in Vista by typing Restore in the Start space down in the bottom left of screen. This will open the System Restore page. I am assuming of course, that you have left System Restore in the default On position. Choose a restore point from before u instald VS... And don't worry, if it doesn't work, you can go back to your original point by reversing the restore... :lol: 8)

i tried that still the same and not only that the packet says its ulead 11.5 and is in its a black box so thats wired any other suggestions?
