multiple video and audio tracks

Post by jeeper74 »

Is there a way in VS11 to edit more than two video or audio tracks at once. I am wanting to add a couple different sound effects at once and can not place all of them properly, and would prefer to complete this in VS11 instead of a seperate program. The video as well, if I wanted to add a second overlay track is that possible? I realize that I could render a file with some of what I want and then finish my project with that file, but again I don't want to do that, for fear that I might want to change something in the first render, and then would need to redo the second one as well.

No there is not.

Found on page# 79 of the User Guide:

Do you have the plus version? If not, then it is not possible. If you do have the plus version then go to Time Line View and click the icon immediately to the left of the 5.1 icon. This will open the Overlay Track Manager. Place a check in the box beside the number of the overlay tracks you wish to have.
