I'm very new to video editing & would appreciate some help.
When I open Video Studio 9 to start a new project there's lots of clips on the right hand side, under the heading 'video'.
How do I get rid of these.
Basic language please

Welcome to the forums,
Those sample clips can be removed by selecting them all (Click on the first clip, hold the Shift key down, and click on the last clip), then right-clicking and choosing delete. If you continue to hold down the Shift key, it will prompt you about deleting them from your system too. When you add or delete anything from the Libraries, you're just removing the Thumbnail images, which are representations, not the actual files.
You can do that for each of the Libraries. You can also create your own libraries, by selecting the Down Arrow (to the right) and Library Manager (found at the bottom of the menu). In the Library Manager Window select New, provide a name then click Close.
