WinDVD 9 Plus with Blu-ray and Vista 64bits

Post by Deathbold »

Quick question here:

Does this WinDVD 9 run on a Vista 64Bits Ultimate or does it not...
Is it possible to change BD settings in this version?

The WinDVD specs I could find did not say anything about Vista being 32bits only but I might be wrong here.

And if this version of WinDVD 9 is 32bits Vista compatible only when oooh when can I exspect a mature version (aka a 64bits version)?
If even planned that is....

Basically I like to know if I should re-install my PC with a fresh install if the answer is yes to the top 2 questions.

Did you get it to run at all? For me it Just locks ups on starting the program, I tried a fresh install just loaded drivers and WinDVD still locks up.

Maybe it just don't like my system.

I only have a 32 bit computer running Vista SP1 and WinDVD 9 works fine on that.
I have a 64 bit computer running XP Pro SP2 and WinDVD 9 works fine on that.
