Also, MF gives me a "Failed to initialize internal modules, VIO, etc."
I have removed/re-installed/restored numerous times and always have the same problems. There is a LOCKED forum on CODEC PACKS that could be VERY helpful to users as myself if someone has found the one causing the problem.
When doing the SEARCH function for CODEC, dozens show. I have removed some with a recent date. But this may be hazardous without knowing the one causing the Ulead problem.
At present the ULEAD MSP8 and MFs are unuseable.
If someone may have encountered this and found the fix I would be most thankful for that info........
