upgrade to 9, do i need to install patches for 8 still???

Hi there,

I have just upgraded from VS8 Se to VS9, would anyone be able to tell me if i still need to install all patches from VS8 for it to work properly?

AFAIK, no, because VS9 is completely independent except for the burning engine, which it upgrades.

I'm sure that not even Ulead would release a new version containing errors that it KNEW about in previous versions - surely any reputable company would include corrections (patches) for previous versions in the latest release - even if you did attempt to install a V8 patch it wouldn't find V9 they are in different folders.
