Tried Hotfix, now have error 0x80040707 ... please help.

I have version 11 (worked great for a long time until I updated it), and got the AVControlSDK error which led me to use the hotfix. I followed the instructions that were posted on the message board and received the "error 0x80040707" message upon install around the time the AV Control was being installed. When I then started Video studio, I didn't have the option to capture. The device dropdown was all grayed out. I have a Turtle Beach VideoAdvantage PCI capture card.
I read the post about how to do a clean installed and followed all the directions on cleaning out the old install. I even went through regedit and deleted any traces of Ulead entries and ran Registry Mechanic to clear out anything I missed. I re-installed Videostudio and got the same error with the same grayed out capture device. Can someone please help? Click the system button for my system info.

Was software was supplied with the capture card?

It was just the windows drivers.

I actually just solved the problem. I extracted the installation file and re-installed it. Funny enough, by doing it this way, it installed perfectly.
