Hi,
I just re-installed VS 10 Plus on my computer after a clean install of XP and all the updates. I've spent over 6 hours creating and burning two DVDs which have the same problem. The disc contains a short copyright warning which plays first and then two different programs. As each program ends, the audio from the copyright notice overlaps the program audio for about 5 seconds.
Does anyone know how to solve this problem?
Thank you.

You'll have to take a look at your project and see if you moved something before your burned.

Moved
I don't understand what you mean by moved. I've made lots of these same types of DVDs prior to the reinstall using VS10Plus without this problem. I laid down the clips in order, set the chapters, previewed the menus and transitions and built both an .ISO file and burned the DVD. But this overlap problem is new. It was the same on both trys which were independent reconstructions.
But also new is the conflict I now have with Media Pro 6. When I installed VS10Plus after installing MediaPro 6, I lost audio preview in MediaPro. When I reverse the process, VS10 tends to prevent both MS Media Player and Real Player from playing DVDs. I get an error refering to uldvdvideo.ax
I had none of these before. I'm totally confused and frustrated.

Actually I've never put the individual pieces onto the VS timeline. The three peices in question were edited and rendered individually using Media Studio Pro 6. I use VS only to author DVDs.
I have checked each of the pieces and individually they all work just fine.
When I add them to the authoring program and create the DVD I then get the problem of the audio from the first piece, which plays before the main menu, being added to the last 5 seconds of each of the subseqent programs....almost like a cross fade.

I guess that's because I didn't understand you since you didn't provide us with some very important information.I don't understand what you mean by moved.
Anyway, does your ISO play the same way?
After your editing is finished do you produce a DVD-compatible MPEG-2 file first, or do you go straight from the project in the timeline to produce your ISO?
If you are not doing the former, I would suggest it.
