Have just bought and installed MovieFactory 6 on Windows XP Home, SP2.
The manual documents and pictures the following functions from the Launcher screen:
----------------------------Do I have it ?
Video/Slideshow Disc---------yes
Audio Disc-----------------------no
Data Disc------------------------no
Import Capture----------------yes
Edit/Append disc---------------yes
Copy Disc------------------------no
Disc Tools-----------------------yes
As you can see from the right hand 'Do I have it' column I am not seeing 3 of the functions. Particularly annoying as I only bought it for file type conversion which I understand is done under the missing Copy Disc function.
Can anyone throw any light on this please ? I have uninstalled and re-installed with the same results.
Appreciate any help and thanks in advance.......
MovieFactory 6, Copy Disk function missing.

Did you purchase the plus version? There are some differences, most involve the HD/BD formats though.
Did you make sure to download and install all the files? Generally there are at least 2 main files, one being Bonus content. They also may split up the main program files into several smaller ones, to make it easier to download.

Thanks very much for the reply. It is not the Plus version just version 6. It was bought from a major store, in the box and installed from the CD, nothing downloaded. The box, the manual and the screen shots in the manual all state the file type conversion function via the missing Copy Disk option. Really miffed as this is the only reason I bought it, if it doesn't do this then it is blatent mis-selling. Hope someone can help.

Thanks to all who have replied, I now see that I've been sold a pup. Effectively the Ulead DVD MovieFactory 6 I have purchased actually has the fuction of Ulead DVD MovieFactory 6 Plus specified on its packaging as the only source of information prior to purchase. So the product purchased is not that advertised on the packaging and I think this an absolute disgrace. What other company on earth takes this approach and survives !
Once again, thanks to those who replied.
