VideoStudio Authorize YouTube

Post by mreinsmith »

New user of VideoStudio.

Why do you have to authorize youtube each time you go to share a video.

It would seem that you should be able to save the authorization, but I have to do it each time. When I check the "authorized sites" on youtube there are no entries (I am assuming that is where it would be).

Any comments would be helpful.

Thanks

Welcome to the forums,

This is a requirement of YouTube. If you were to upload a video directly from YouTube, this authorization is still needed. Just going to Share>Create Video File does not require any authorizations, just when you select Share Video Online.

Thanks for your swift reply.

It's mostly an anoyance, overall the share function works great. I was just wondering if I was doing something wrong.

I used to use Nero for the same task and it never required an authorization, but VS is sooooo much more capable.

Thanks again
