Videostudio 10 Plus Select Video Source Problem.
When I attempt to select a video source a Change Field Order dialogue box opens up, shows it has progressed 10% and hangs the system. I am trying to capture video off a SVHSC Camcorder using a Belkin High Speed USB Capture device. The device driver is working ok but VS10+ which was working fine before is not despite a clean reinstall. Any suggestions how to clear this problem?

No. Couldn't get it working with VS10 though the driver installed ok and shows ok in device manager.

It actually came with VS6 SE. Looking at the packaging it was around about 2002 when manufactured though I bought it from DSE this week.
The strange thing is I can't even capture using my normal panasonic dv camera which I could before this. It too hangs when I try to select the capture device - in this case connected via ieee 1394 interface. It keeps bringing up the change field order dialog box. It show immediatly 10% of the process and stall at this point and freezes the system. I can't use task manger to stop any processes and have to either reset or switch off the system to restart.
