Ulead picture show 4

I have been using this software for some years and am generally happy with it, especially the ability to add music at specific locations. However, other software (proshow gold) is now offering new and better effects and transitions, including layering. Has anyone heard of any upgrade for this product or is Corel just going to sit on it. Or, can anyone recommend another updated product for slideshow production. (I have heard that proshow gold has some problems with freezing and crashing.)

It's unknown if Corel will continue development of this product. So far they have not released any further upgrades or updates. This includes an update for Vista. So I wouldn't count on this product sticking around. :(
