Oh, just forgot to mention. I have Nero on my daughters computer which I can use if needed. I use that facility for copying my dvd's. :)

Like I said, I use Nero to burn. What I do in VS is to uncheck the burn to disc option and instead burn to DVD folders. I then open Nero and burn the files in that folder. Makes it much easier to do multiple copies, or come back at a later time to re-burn.

You may want to install your daughter's Nero and give it a try, or if you have a home network you could just make that DVD folder accessible and burn from your daughter's computer.

If you have followed our suggestions you should have an MPEG-2 file created from your project. When you open the burn window (by Share>Create Disc) you must insert that MPEG-2 file to the burning timeline. Have you done that? That is where you mark you chapters (if you wish).

Click the Next button to edit/modify the menu.

When that is done click Next to preview your work.

Clicking Next will take you to the window where you can choose where to burn to: disc, DVD folders, ISO file.

Thanks Jeff. yeah, I did all that - well, think so, its so many hours ago now. I also installed my Nero 6. It accepted my Project File and began to burn. It got to 21% and stopped doing anything. My computer Froze!!.
So - its now 01.47am and I have just removed all Video Studio and MovieFactory 4 from my computer. I have removed all my created files and I am just about to re-start my computer ready for the next round of mess!!.
I am not going to re-install these discs. I am merely going to download a free trial of MovieFactory 6 and see if it works. If it doesn't I think I will finally give up and just use Nero and stop playing at Steven Speilberg
Guess I am tired now after 8 hours of constant knock backs. Maybe after a sleep I will change my mind. I tried using Corels advice and re-storing my computer. I tried this three times to different periods and each time I had error messages relating to VideoStudio.
One question. Is RealPlayer part of VS??. For some reason, two of my projects were with Realplayer and one of them was 2GB and would not remove. I even tried uninstalling Realplayer and it kept crashing my computer. Something strange is going on here but I have now removed everything so I will see very soon.
thanks again for being patient with a beginner.

No, RealPlayer has nothing to do with VS. In my opinion, RP causes a lot of problems. I didn't like it and I removed it from my pc.
