vob files into the Timeline?

Post by leszektrojanowski »

Probably there has been a topic about editting the vob files in Ulead Video Studio, however I am struggling to find it.

Is there a possibility to play with the vob files at all?

If yes, can you please advise how?

It's best to go to the Capture tab and Import the DVD (or the files). That will create an MPG file for you to work with.

If you are unable to do that, you can try renaming the files from VOB to MPG.

... I assume that you are not trying to edit a copy-protected file from a commercial DVD. Video Studio won't do that.

VS10+ was the only version that allowed direct insertion to the timeline of VOB files. With all other versions you need to use the Insert DVD/DVD-VR... command.
