VideoStudio upgrade problems

I've just tried to upgrade on Vista and now I cannot use VideoStudio at all. When I click to open it Vista asks if I want to continue then nothing happens at all.

I have used System Restor to revert to pre-upgrade but the same thing happens.

Any ideas please ?

Nick,
Exactly how did you install the program?
What Version? VS11 standard or VS11 Plus?
If using the trial version did you un-install it completely before installing VS11+ retail?

Do you have UAC enabled/disabled in Vista?
Do you have any other ulead products installed?
You should be logged into Vista as a standard user and install VS11+ installation program as a standard user, when prompted to run the installation program you answer "Yes".
Then after installation you run the program as a standard user.

I uninstalled 11 then instaaled 11+ via the link emailed to me. Ran programme as requested. Once completed did not open automatically. Tried opening from programmes on start menu and asked if I wanted to continue and nothing happened.

No other Ulead products installed. Don't know what UAC is or if enabled or not.

Have now removed 11+ as well and getting thoroughly dejected !!
