I couldn't actually find any comparison chart on that page, though there were a couple of comparisons with VS11 processing speeds. But as you would be aware, the translation leaves a lot to be desired! I particularly "liked" this para:
One useful bit of information hidden away in there will be good for our growing band of AVCHD users. And that was the otherwise fairly hidden reference to "PUROKISHIFAIRU"... It was only after thinking about it for a while and applying a little bit of knowledge about the way Japanese pronounced certain foreign sounds, that I could break that down into PUROKISHI = PROXY and FAIRU = FILE. And the good news is apparently that VS12 can either process or create (or both) proxy files 359% times faster than VS11. Even if it were nly 100% faster, that would be something...
I wonder if the truck has arrived yet?In addition, registered letters and other material "title" track is added to a truck and several hours ahead of the title character and display it, or can be animated. Items on display animation, for example, while under the ticker at the mouth, such as can be.

Ken, you never fail to amaze me. How you got proxy file out of that is beyond me.

Japanese doesn't much like two hard syllables coming together or words ending in hard syllables. So it adds vowels like 'u' and 'i' to foreign words. So if your take out the U and one of the I's from PUROKISHI you have PROKSHI which is a fair approximation of 'proxy'. And FAIRU (pronounced FY-roo), when you recall Japanese difficulties with the letter L, and remove the final U, you have the pronounced sound FYL or 'file'...
My first experience of these transpositions occurred on a train trip was making between Kyoto and Naga in the 1980s using a delightfully named company called Kinki Nippon Railways -- which even had red velvet curtains with pom-pom tassles!!! -- and the trolley dolly (hostess) rattled along and asked be something in Japanese. And she kept repeating something that sound like 'kopi hotu'. I eventually worked out that she was asking if I wanted hot coffee!!

I downloaded the demo from the japanese site (with a lot of fiddling)
although i can't read japanese to see the text , i quite like the painter
feature, you can make some quick animations with it.
Does anyone know how upgrades work with ulead.
If you upgrade say from 10 to 11 do you get the full
version of 11 to install or an upgrade to install over 10
okee

It's a full and separate install, and the two programs can be opened separately (not at the same time) on the same computer (as long as they are compatible if it is a Vista computer). All you need is the serial number of the older version, as well as the new version serial number. The old one has to be entered as part of the installation (and even download) of the new version.
