I have a new computer with VISTA Home Premium. I installed PI10 again (PI 7 which is my favorite - will not work at all) and choose the compatibility option, run as administrator. PI 10 will work, except loading the Presets which I have collected and also the ones that I have created that worked previously and desperately need.
I have now ordered PI-X3 and am anxiously awaiting its arrival.
My problem is I have been trying to delete some old UFOs that were reated in PI7 and PI10 and Explorer will try to delete and then will stop working. I have tried to delete them one by one, all at once, and then the complete folder where they are located. They will not open in PI10 for me to change the extension to .jpg.
For your information, if this helps, I did download a trial version of PI 12 and the icon that is in front of the UFOs indicates that they are PI12 UFOs. PI12 didn't work, too many computer crashes and I deleted the program.
It is as though VISTA doesn't recognize the UFO extension anymore.
Can anybody help me any and all suggestions would be appreciated.
