VS8 Memory leak rears its ugly head again

Hi Everyone

Have downloaded the 8.01 patch but still get the VSTUDIO has caused and error in VSTUDIO.EXE. VSTUDIO will now close etc followed by the familiar kernel32 error which can only be cured by turning power of etc.

Would be grateful for any ideas.

Seems to be happening more frequently now.

Tony,
This does not sound like the memory leak bug - unless you opened the Task Manager (Performance Tab) and observed it acquiring more memory than you have installed.

If I remember correctly, your computer was somewhat memory and speed "challenged" and the operating system was ME with the old file size limit of 4GB. I would suspect a strain on these resources may be causing the problem. Have you considered helping the economy by upgrading your computer?;-))
