I am a user of Sanyo HD1000. It bundled with a DVDMF5 for Sanyo. From the menu of the software, there is a option to upgrade the software. Since I want to create a AVCHD disc, so I upgraded my DVDMF5 to DVDMF6 Plus from the Corel website. After that, I was shocked coz the new DVDMF6 does not support the file created by Sanyo cam anymore. I tried to ask for help thro the tech support of Corel. Of course, at the end, no one can help!
I have a feeling that I am cheated. So if you are user of HD1000, DON'T use DVDMF6 Plus!!!

Re: DVDMF6Plus does not support Sanyo HD1000
You want to just vent, and post mis-information about the program or do you want some help in getting it to work for you?BigBoss wrote: I have a feeling that I am cheated. So if you are user of HD1000, DON'T use DVDMF6 Plus!!!
You're camcorder records video using the MPEG-4, AVCHD/h.264, which DVDMF 6+ does support. I don't use a High-Def camera, so know very little about the mechanics of working with it.
However if you do a search of the DVD MovieFactory and/or VideoStudio forums, using keywords such as AVCHD, h.264, and in the "author" box enter the name etech6355, you will find numerous posts where he has explained this.
The version that was included with your camera was probably tweaked by Sanyo to work with the camera. These versions generally will have "SE" tagged onto the end, such as DVD MovieFactory 5+SE.

Corel then pls mark clearly on their Upgrade webpage and also disable the upgrade option on the menu of that special version of DVDMF5.
I do not expect the new version does not support the format that the old version supported. Is it logical?

Well Corel is not going to do that. If you have a complaint please register it with Corel. This is a User web board, it is not staffed by Corel employees, we are just users of the various programs, like you...

BigBoss,
If I bought a product that worked with my camcorder and there was an upgrade to the program I would also think my camcorder would work with it. MF6+ isn't reading Mpeg4 container formats (mp4).
VideoStudio11+ can work with those HighDef video files, But NOT the Trial Version
Maybe you can get a refund on your MF6+ purchases or transfer them to purchase VS11+. After installing VS11+, then installing the VS11+ patches I've been able to use samples recorded on these Sanyo HD Cams. They were in 1280x720P HD Mode.
