Does VideoStudio11 boxed pack contain printed manual or ...
any other goodies which make it preferable to download version?

It contains a printed manual though the writing is I am told
very small and so you need a magnifying glass to read it.
The boxed version includes a "Repair Option" compared to the download version where you have to uninstall/re-install. Never found that to be a big deal myself because it is (despite what you may read here) rare to have to "repair" an installation. I have several versions installed on several computers and the only times I have had to repair an installation is if I have deliberately broken it whilst investigating users problems.
