I've been scouring for some posts about this but unable to find an answer.
I just downloaded and installed the VideoStudio 11 Plus Trial to my XP Sp2 machine, installed it, etc. When I launch the link, I get prompted to Buy or Try, i click Try.. a "video studio" bar pops up on my taskbar, but I am unable to "open" it after that.. it just sits there and does nothing, I do not get any screen.
I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling, etc. To have problems with Trial software is really bad.. please help
VideoStudio 11 Trial wont open

It's possibly too late for that, you may get a message that the trial period has expired, but did you try another download? Maybe you DL file is damaged. Did you have virus scanners, anti malware tools running while you installed it?
I would definitely download a fresh install file, completely remove the old trial from my system, disconnect from the internet, reboot and disable the anti virus and anti malware programs before starting a fresh installation.

hi Heinz,
well.. I just started a few days ago, so doubt the trial has ran out. Says it has 25 days left.
All this trouble for trial software.. sure makes you not want to buy it, eh?
I see I'm not the first one to have this type of problem with the trial either.
I'll try a few things. There instructions how to remove completely?

Hi Joe, I'm not saying your trial has run out but VS might think so when you completely remove it and try to install again.
Better to have the problems with a trial than after you bought it. There are just such a multitude of different PC configurations around, it's impossible to check for all eventualities.
Do you have any 3rd party codec packs installed? Do you run anti spyware programs, firewalls, anti virus etc. Especially a firewall can play havoc with an installation so can anti spyware.
If you can't get the trial to work, why would you want to buy it? In most cases we can work out what it is that stops it from starting. Trouble is, by then, the trial period might be up.
There is something system specific which causes you the grief. Without any info on it, how could anyone give meaningful advice?
What other programs have you installed? What is running in the background when you try to start it etc. You'd be surprised to find out how many things are running on your PC without you even knowing.
