paas word problem

Hello all
First time here
I purchased a ieee 1394 .20 usb card
videostudio 8 came with the card
when i try to install videostudio8 it asks me for a password which i cannot find anywhere
Am i missing something?

Normally software given away free with a an item of software is termed a
SE (Special Edition) version. These do not normally require an activation code or serial number. If you find you do require one but cannot find it on the disc or the packaging you will need to ask your supplier.

I think i will just use the windows moviemaker prog instead
The dealer also agrred with you that a serial number should not be needed

Your using Vista, are you sure it's the program or Vista asking for a password.
Sounds like Vista is asking for the Administrators password to install the program.

Since you have Vista, VS8 will not work with it in any case...
