X3 won't launch

I apologize in advance if a solution has been found for this problem before, but I have spent around 2 hours searching these forums, and although I have found people who have the same issue, non of them seem to have been resolved.

I've been using PI for years, and i'm currently using PI12, but a few days ago I downloaded the X3 trial with a view to buying it.

All was going well until when I tried to use the program this morning, it refused to load.

Iedit.exe seems to be running in the background, but thats all that happens.

Any help would be most appreciated.

I am getting a similar problem. X3 installs and when trying to run it locks up initialising U32Tif.fio file and generate the windows error screen stating that Photoimpact has stopped working. This only seems to be happening in Vista.

I have tried on several machines and dont seem to be able to get around it.

Any help gratefully appreciated

I am having the same problem everytime i click on PIX3 trial version the sandtimer icon comes up for like 5 seconds and then nothing happens, ive tried uninstalling and re-installing the program but it still doesnt work, and the same happens when i try to download the PI12 trial too?
Any Ideas Please?
