Preview Screen Does show clip when in SHARE to burn to DVD
Just upgraded to VS 11.5 from VS 10....but I'm having a problem where when I go to "share" choose DVD the PREVIEW screen doe bot show or play my clip and thus I cannot create chapters...all I see is black screen. I can burn the DVD but I lost the ability to preview and test MENUS. Also when I click on CREATE CHAPTERS it crashes and I get an error ref message
AppName: vstudio.exe AppVer:11.0.0.0 Mod Name: mfmediaservice.dll
ModVer 1.0.01
I looked for this issue in COREL wbesite but did not see any "fixes". I have SP1 loaded. Any clues or suggestions? A
Thanks in advance!
Sam

Hi Sam, even though you have DirectX 9.0c, it might be worth trying the update. It might just fix the problem, and it won't do any harm.sgalvez wrote:I have Windwons SP2, DirectX version 9.0c
Thanks for your help!

Latest DirectX
Make sure you have all VS updates loaded too. The hotfix is only for people having trouble loading the program, so should not apply to you.

sgalvez,
I had the same problem and was given the solution by Ken Berry. Here is what he suggeted:
1. Go to Ulead web site and on the download page navigate to VS11. There you will find 3 patches. First, download and install the one at the bottom, dated Nov 6, 2007. Then install the next one -- the Power Pack --dated Nov 8, 2006. Ignore the top one unless you had the specific problem described. I did not install the top one.
2. Go to the Microsoft DirectX website and download the latest DirectX patch which is also labelled November 2007.
Applying these 3 patches solved the problem for me.
Good luck.
