VS10+ crashes during SHARE > Create DVD

Program crashes after I import a video file (mpg) and click NEXT to edit the menu. It does so with ANY video file I. I even tried uninstalling and re-installing VS10+ but still crashes. The error report refers to a MOD name
afcachemanager.dll

I experience almost regular crashes too but never when attempting to author a DVD as you describe.
Have you read this post (with regard to re-installing VS)?

Also where did you get the video file (mpg)? Is it a video file you created? What type of mpeg file is it (characteristics)?

Lastly we need to know your PC stats.

Hi Nicholas,

make sure you have all the latest XP updates and patches.

Also make sure you have the latest DirectX

Latest DirectX

It seems to resolve some problems in the create disc module in VS11, and might just have the same effect in VS10.
