I am using Ulead Video Studio 11 to convert 720p Widescreen MPEG4 files to WMV HD files in 720p Widescreen. For some reason when I send them to my Xbox 360 over the media center extender they appear in 4:3 format squished. I have to force the tv to stretch them out to look normal. But then the menu options are all off screen. Is there a way to force a widescreen flag that I am missing during the conversion process???? Thanks for any help.

There's a lot of settings to review to answer your problem.
What are the properties of your mpeg4 video file.
If you want, from the timeline right click on the video, select Properties. Post the video & audio properties back to this thread.
Is windows media server just passing the video through it's server? Or re-encoding it?
Does the video play correctly if you burn it to a dvd-r and play it back directly from the XBox360 DVD Drive?
