Smooth Font? How can I disable this?

When I use the "Insert Object >> HTML Text" the font is all smoothed out where at one point it was nice and sharp like true html text.

How do I disable font smoothing in the HTML Text tool?

I am including an example so people will know what I am talking about.

I'm afraid that I don't know the answer, I wasn't even aware of this function. Did it used to really produce sharp text? That's just what I was looking for (see some of my other posts about the anti-aliasing problems with PI and small text.)
